John T. Wheeler, P.A.
Certified Pain Specialist
John Wheeler is a Physician Assistant who is certified with the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. He is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support. He has been a Physician Assistant for the past nine years where he has specialized in orthopedics, pain management and cardiothoracic surgery.
He is on the staff of the Delaware Valley Orthopedic and Spine Center where he provides pain management care. He also serves as Safety Officer of the Delaware Valley Orthopedic and Spine Surgicenter, which is a state-of-the-art facility licensed by the State of Pennsylvania and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
He is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants. He currently holds the rank of Lieutenant in the US Naval Reserves, which he has been part of for the past 18 years. Following graduation from Hahnemann University he started his medical training as a hospital corpsman and physical therapy technician in the US navy.
