Gerald E. Dworkin, D.O.
Physiatrist
Doctor Dworkin is Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at Temple Medical School and is Outpatient Director for Physicians Rehabilitation Associates. He is board certified in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Electrodiagnostic Medicine and by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. He has hospital privileges in both Physiatry and Pain Anesthesia within the Mercy Hospital System. Dr. Dworkin has over 40 articles and abstracts published and is a nationally known speaker and expert in Pain Management, disability and impairment rating.
He graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine; did an internship at the Metropolitan Hospital and completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He is a member of a number of professional organizations, including American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports and Occupational Rehabilitation, American Academy of Pain Medicine, Greater Philadelphia Pain Society, American Association of Electromyography and Electrodiagnosis, Pennsylvania Academy of Physical Medicine and the American Osteopathic College of Rehabilitation Medicine.
