Epidural Injections
Epidural steroid injections are usually used when there is leg pain related to spinal compression or irritation of the nerves to the legs as they leave the spine. These injections are delivered by the use of fluoroscopy to assure the exact placement of the medication or sometimes the dye for diagnostic purposes. They are usually given in sets of three and there is rarely temporary increase in pain or headache.
